Ramadan
Ramadan is the most sacred month of the year in Islamic culture. It began on the evening of Thursday 23rd April and will end at sundown on Saturday 23rd May. Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar. It is a month of fasting, prayer, giving and self-evaluation observed by Muslims. Members of our school and local community who follow Islam will experience a very different Ramadan this year as they will not be able to visit friends and family, or their local mosque. We pray for our friends and those in our local community who will not be able to observe this special month in their normal way. The links below will share more information about the holy month of Ramadan as well as an NHS guidance for staying safe during this time.
