Computing and ICT
In all year groups, Computing is taught weekly. Some lessons are taught using the iPads, in the ICT suite or are 'unplugged' such as E-Safety. Whilst E-Safety has specific units throughout the year, at Sacred Heart, we ensure that we cover E-Safety at the start of every half term.
To ensure quality coverage and progression of the National Curriculum, we follow the iCompute Scheme of Work. The iCompute units provide children with the opportunity to use a rich variety of digital tools and technologies and learn how to develop ideas, communicate, collaborate, create, present and evaluate.
